Ann Kingzett
Kaleidoscopic textiles
Ann began sewing in high school. After marrying her husband, she purchased her first sewing machine and paid $9/month until it was all hers! She has been a creative whirlwind ever since. Pairing vibrant fabric patterns and colors, Ann stitches together unique purses, aprons, bread cloths, hand towels and more. She is always on the hunt for new patterns and projects to make.
Always happy to receive donated fabric remnants and give them new life, Ann’s purses take on an original flair as no two are ever alike. Creating her pieces is like making a work of art, she takes plain materials and makes them into wonderful and useful things. Her favorite items to sew are purses. They have such personality and when they find a buyer, she is delighted to see them in daily use, being loved and cared for, not just set on a shelf. In addition to the purses, her aprons also bring her joy. She says if you wear one, folks will think your cooking is as good as Julia Childs. So find yours today! Many styles and sizes are available in our gallery.
