I hope you enjoy this rare art as much as I do!  Each piece is carved with much thought, as I give each one of them a personality of their own.  Hand carved from a single piece of wood, no glue nor staples!  This carving technique is an ancient Eastern European folk art of long ago.  The wood I use is white cedar.

My name is Chandra Peterson and I’ve been a carver since 2016.   I have two beautiful girls ages 9 and 11, they are why I do what I do.  My carvings and my husband have enabled me to be home more and take care of my girls.  My family is my proudest “creation”.

David Peterson, my husband, is the back bone of all that I do. Without him my art show booths would be pretty minimal as he sets everything up for me. He also keeps me calm and grounded. I guess you can say he is the silent partner of “Chandra’s Passions”.
